Azur Lane Guides and Info

--- BEGINNER INFO --- Q: Should I start on EN, JP or CN if I'm a total newbie to the game? A: If you don't mind having to use the wiki to help yourself and know how to get around the game for the first days then play on JP as its widely regarded as the best server and the version of the game the developers focus on. But if having English text on your game is your number one priority then play on EN. Q: Will I need to have a translations tab open all the time if I want to play on JP/CN? Do I need to know the language to play it? A: Absolutely not. You'll definitely need the wiki during your first days to know what's what and possibly somewhere to ask questions but you really shouldn't need the wiki after your first week (or less) of playing because its very easy to figure out what button is what. Buttons have English text on them ( https://i.imgur.com/bylBc2Z.jpg ) or a helpful icon that tells you what you're going to get if you tap it so its very easy to g

Azur Lane Gear Guide or HELP! WHAT DO I USE ON [SHIPNAME]?

ALEN Tier Guide

========================================================================================= Your Waifu is SHIP's opinionated & extra-biased EN tier guide (based on KopfjÀger's work) ========================================================================================= >>> VERY IMPORTANT OPENING NOTE <<<< Azur Lane is a special little gem of a game. In a mobile market saturated by predatory, thinly disguised gambling simulators posing as RPGs, where the only valid choice is the rarest, most expensive, most lootboxable one, Azur Lane bucks the trend by having ALL of its units entirely viable for all content, given proper gear and care. That said, however... to quote a wise Azur Lane Community member, "just because it works, it doesn't mean it's good": while all units are indeed viable, there are clearly objectively superior ones, and this Tier Guide aims to identify who are they and for what reasons. Indeed, you could even inter

Monster guide for early/mid game players

The objective of this guide is to provide concise description of monsters for summoners at an early/mid game level who are focusing on efficiently progressing through the game. It will help with knowing what monsters are worth keeping, which are worth building, and where they are used. Unless you are able to get consistent arena wins at the 1200+ level, it is in your best interest to have a very weak defense allowing you to refresh for easy wins making building any pvp unit a significant drain on resources. PvP should not be focused on at all until all of Cairos is on farm (at a minimum). Most 2 stars will be omitted to conserve space since most of them are not worth building although special comments will be made for a few. I'm omitting nat 5's due to insane rarity for new players. Yeti : The only one worth talking about is the wind yeti. He can be a powerful healer that is even used up in R5. The big problem with him is that his S1 slow only lasts for 1 turn meaning as soo
